SCL Photography Podcast 178 - A Rum Do

Reader Comments (2)

I there. Thanks for this new episode. About the Telegraph photo, I guess they used it on their web site and not in print? I had some pictures used the same way by our national radio/TV organization but I had put them under CC license and they did mention my flickr ID so I guess that's ok. In the case described here I find this editor's attitude quite a bit more rude towards the photographer.

Hi Luc,

What I find troubling is that the sort of organisation that should know better, is using images where it cannot easily contact the photographer, then only paying up IF that photographer finds out.

We can't expect the general public to respect photographers intellectual property if these professional businesses don't either.

Maybe its time for very large water-marks, or am I worried about nothing?

Thanks, Rob.
