Begin With Bailey Photography Book Review (Words By George Hughes)

I really like David Bailey's photographs - his "If We Shadows" has to be one of my favourite photobooks, so the chance to learn some hints and tips from the man himself has to be a real treat.

Culled from the pages of Camera Weekly, a long, long time ago, with words by George Hughes and photographs by Bailey, this book as a great read, and the images are excellent food for thought. Some of the articles are dedicated to film techniques and processing, but most of the ideas can still be applied today and offer a refreshing change from the kit-orientated pieces you'll find in modern photography magazines.

This is a good book, even if you only get it for David Baileys images, and I'm really pleased I found it at one of our local charity shops.
