Hiya Rob,
What a brilliant idea for a podcast! I've always enjoyed your casts but this one was something else, felt quite interactive.
(Especially after seeing the 'gallery' addition on my recent activity on flickr and following the breadcrumbs.)
Was really good to hear you talking about other people images and to share them in such a way, made me look back at your flickr groups pool to see what other photographic gems I'd missed! Quite inspirational to look at others images and the skills they have obviously honed to produce such remarkeable imagery. Shall definately be taking more of a wider look in future.
My oscilloscope image you were quite right about, light painting, (details were buried in the tags and comments). I wanted the glow of the valves and green phosphur to show and such a long exposure screamed for a light painting moment. As you say, something we can all do, (no special equipment required), very hands on and satisfying.
Well, I really enjoyed srcolling through your gallery whilst listening to the cast and I shall look out for future instalments.
All the best to you and family,
Victor
Hi Rob ,
Great Cast , and thanks for featuring one of my images , im slowly coming out of my shell with regards to shooting in public , and a tip if you are nervous is to start in tourist trap areas , as quite often the people around seem quite indifferent to the fact you are waving a cam around .
Some great images in the gallery ,i have just uploaded my attempts at one of them !!!!
A brilliant idea , and i would love to see a cast like this again in the future !
Regards
Matt
Hi Guys!
Glad you enjoyed the 'cast, I was nervous that talking about actual photographs in an audio podcast might not come across well, a bit like a Radio Ventriloquist, but I think I'll do it again in a future episode.
Many thanks again, cheers, Rob.
Hi Rob,
thank you for featuring one of my pictures, it was great to actually hear what another person actually thinks of one of my pictures, friends and family always give a reply which you want to hear.
i have been following your podcasts for a while now and really enjoy them and think you should do this type of podcast again.
ps. also linked from my website to this page
Hi Gareth!
No problem, it was a pleasure looking at such great images. Thanks for the link and keep up the great work! (Nice site by the way).
Cheers, Rob.
