Hi Matt,
You can tag my photos any time you like!
Cheers, Rob.
Hi Rob,
Have you changed your codecs? I couldn't play this podcast through WMP but did manage in the end with QT.
(Yet your older podcasts run fine through WMP. Not a major problem, just thought I'd mention it.)
Enjoyable podcast as ever! Actually managed to find some free time to catch back up with some fun stuff rather than just work ;-)
Great seeing your recent pics with the Lensbaby, throws me back to my film stuff and I actually enjoy that nostalgic and organic look to the images. Amazing that we'll buy lenses that have ultimate sharpness or even amazing bokeh characteristics and yet simple lens imagery still has that ability to hook right into the viewer.
I also tried the pinhole body cap experiment without much success, although at least I got my hole drilled exactly in the centre ;-) Something that I may have to revisit at some time.
Your comments towards the end regarding purchasing dSLR's were very well made, (have you though about selling cameras for a living?) Sort of questions I get everyday again now and not the easiest to answer either. Usually letting the customer hold each brand of camera to see how it 'feels' usually is the deciding factor in the end even after all the 'review/feature' information they've previously absorbed has been exhausted. Amazing how many of them I then plonk a superzoom compact into their hands and then they purchase one of those instead!
Great work as ever Rob, keep it up.
All the best,
Victor
Hi Victor,
I tried it in Windows Media Player on my PC, and it played ok, but I am using WMP 9, so I don't know about later versions. I'll keep an eye on it for the next episode.
Yeah, the Lensbaby has been a relevation, and I haven't even scratched the surface about what's possible.
I'd love to sell Cameras for a living! I actually sell lathes, power-tools, sub-pumps, etc.
Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it!
Cheers, Rob.
