Priddys Hard - First Attempt With Topaz Adjust

Priddys Hard, originally uploaded by scalespeeder.

The great guys over at Topaz Labs have sent me a suite of their software to play around with - this is my first attempt with Topaz Adjust.

I've added a black and white adjustment layer after using the Photoshop Plugin, and I think with a little practice this could be very interesting indeed!

Cheers, Rob.

Hello,

I had a quick look at the website, and saw the example images. WOW!, I thought.

So, I downloaded a trial, and I have to say, I am very impressed. Even with some of the higher ISO images, I have found it very good. With some, I found it better to run them through Noise Ninja first (Thanks for the custom S5700 profiles, Rob), as this makes the end result look better if you process in Topaz without the noise.

Great find, thank you!!!

Very nice , i need a good Faux HDR technique due to the nikons lack of an auto-bracketing mode , free trail too ,will have too give it a whirl!

Matt,

The D60 has no auto bracketing, but if you have a still subject, then you can take 3 or 5 manually bracketed exposures for HDR.

Just a thought.

Hi Guys,

I can't take credit for this one - Clint over at http://www.clintwolfphotography.com/ pointed this great plug-in to me in an email.

Cheers, Rob.
