Hiya Rob,
(Just tried adding HTML links in my response and your site refused them - wise move! I'll email you the details.)
Giving away all the secrets to bagging yourself a bargain lens then ;-)
It's amazing how many eBay bargains can be had just by poor listing details. For instance Minolta AF lenses can go for silly prices when marked as "works with Sony dSLR" and yet go for peanuts when it's not mentioned. Nice little tip there mate.
Another move is to buy a lens adapter for your camera and then look about for other lens types, (did this for the Olympus), good glass can be had for bargain prices this way too. As I mentioned I'll email some details for links, one for lens mount identification and another for an eBay trader that sells just about every adapter under the sun.
Nice work Rob. Oh and get those cards out there, nothing beats a bit of face to face communication for furthering your work. (Although if I did it at my place of work I'd be fired!)
I'll email those details soon and you can post them up for others.
All the best,
Victor
Hi Victor!
You're right, the difference in price between well and poorly listed lenses is amazing - it makes all the difference in actually being able to afford a new (2nd hand) lens.
Here's Victors links:
For lens mount identification of older film mounts Rick Oleson has a good page:

The best place I've found for lens adapters, (and just about every one under the sun!) is Go4DC on eBay:

Thanks, Rob.
This could not have come at a better time Rob , Have just bagged myself a New NIkkor 50mm f1.8 Prime for my Nikon d60 (V.sharp!!!) , and i am currently bidding on a tokina 28mm f2 (still under a tenner with a day to go!), so thanks for the cast....(came just at the right time , work bonus time)..........

Matt
