With the macro shot of the wiimotes you would need to use the selecter tool to exclude the wiimote... but then thats a lot of work...
I tried that, but you're right, it was way too much work, and the idea of a little studio is to do stuff quickly (for me anyway). Or maybe some more lights...
Off the top of my head... What about taking a under exposed shot and use some smart filters or selection tools. (under exposed in the effort to make the shadows stand out more. Then you apply the same selection to your correctly exposed shot?
I might be way off though
